Jerry Jones doesn’t think the Cowboys are getting enough attention for their 2-1 start. On his weekly radio show, Jerral Jerry Jones said this:
“I think we’ve shown some things that would cause you to hold in discounting us.”
That’s an awkward way of saying something. Then he said this:
“That’s an awkward way of saying that we should be looked at out of the corner of peoples’ eye.”
“We need to be glanced at over here.”
Alright, you’ve got me Jerral. I’ll glance over. Let’s see what you did last year with your 2-1 start.
2013. Started 2-1, finished an embarrassing 8-8, missed the playoffs.
Well, maybe they did better the year before that?
2012. Started 2-1, finished an embarrassing 8-8, missed the playoffs.
Gosh, looks like a trend. Maybe we should go back one more year?
2011. Started 2-1, finished an embarrassing 8-8, missed the playoffs.
Hmm…I’ll glance back in a few games to see what the pace is. But I’m feeling 8-8 is practically inevitable at this point. And yet again it will include missing the playoffs, because that’s what the Cowboys do. On the bright side, they’ve got glitz and glamour, which is all Jerral really cares about.
